Retaining the tubular fuselage frame construction, the C-3 Master featured a smaller vertical stabilizer and rudder with a &ldquo;filled out&rdquo; fuselage shape that created the new &ldquo;roundback&rdquo; appearance and improved the airflow over the tail.
