Agreement Introduction
AUSTARS MODEL PTY LTD is a TRADE-ONLY company. The words 'we, our, us, AM' refer to AUSTARS MODEL PTY LTD, located at 5/192, KINGSGROVE Road, KINGSGROVE, NSW 2208. The words 'you, your, yours' refer to local retailers, resellers, associates suppliers, or registered users. When ordering from our website, you agree to acknowledge and be bound by the conditions or terms outlined in this agreement in-between. We keep the rights to amend this agreement at any time in our discretion by posting all amended terms on our website. This agreement is effective on 5th August 2007.

Pricing Errors If an error occurs and a product is listed at an incorrect price, AUSTARS MODEL PTY LTD. shall maintain the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. If the order has been confirmed and charged to your credit card or your account, AUSTARS MODEL PTY LTD. shall immediately issue a credit in the amount of the incorrect price. We do not guarantee AUSTARS MODEL PTY LTD prices listed on other websites.
Liability We do not accept responsibility for injury and/or crash damage or loss of kits, engines and accessories, parts and materials that occurs during the use of any radio-controlled model. The user shall determine the suitability of the product for his or her intended use and shall assume all risk and liability in connection therewith. If the user substitute or replace normal kit hardware and/or radio components with after-market accessories, we cannot be held responsible for problems or equipment failure caused by incompatibility or modifications. This includes all other products sold by AUSTARS MODEL PTY LTD.
Ordering Internet ordering We recommend all customers to use our online ordering system. It is simple, fast, and convenient. All customers can access real time information and pricing of our product lines. Fax and Phone ordering Our service operator will serve you and take orders and enquiries. All fax will be processed within 24 hours based on first come-first served basis. After a payment has been accepted, we will process and dispatch the order within 24 hours. If delays in shipping happen and occur, we will notify you by email or phone call. AUSTARS MODEL recommends placing orders with as much as lead time as possible. All products quality made by AUSTARS MODEL and GREEN MODEL will not be compromised for faster delivery or faster shipping. We are not responsible for any costs and/or expenses that may occur due to delivery delays.
Payment For ordering online, we recommend INTERNET BANKING. Secure credit card transaction system is working now. Prices on our website are quoted in Australian Currency (AUD). We also accept the following methods of payment: Direct Deposit and Paypal. Credit would be available within 4 months period after we evaluate and verify payment records.
Goods Delivery 1. Domestic Orders in Australia will be delivered by road or airfreight depending on your options. Freight cost of delivery will be known and notified at time of dispatch. Currently we use HunterExpress courier for domestic delivery. Within NSW & VIC, customers will receive the goods next day. While WA, SA, NT and QLD will take from 3-5 days, we are also are working out a new Electronic Express Distribution System with few domestic couriers. Please notify us regarding international orders and freight cost. Cost of delivery will be sent to you at the time of dispatch. Cost of delivery varies on the size of the order and destination. 2. An itemised Tax Invoice containing the description of products, freight and GST will be attached on the packing box in a sealed bag. 3. Please be sure to reconcile the number of boxes shipped with the number of boxes received. On occasion carriers may deliver boxes separately. Please note that ground and air shipments are often assigned to separate trucks and may arrive at different times of the day. Please do not accept boxes with exterior damage. If the box has been delivered without your signature, contact the carrier before opening the package. The carrier will need to inspect the box and verify any damage before refund or replacement can occur. 4. If you receive defective merchandise, please call us for return instructions. In most cases, we will accept returns and make adjustments. Defects found after the product is in use usually fall under manufacturer's warranty. A customer service representative will be happy to help you determine which procedure is appropriate for you. 5. We check all the packages and stamp the mark 'checked' on the package before it is delivered to you. If you feel a box has been lost in transit, please call with the order or invoice number and a list of the missing items. A tracer will be initiated at that time. A claim number will be issued if the carrier does not show delivery within 10 days of the scheduled delivery date. Credit will be issued for the missing merchandise when we obtain the claim number from the carrier. 6. Should you receive merchandise that is missing a part, please contact us. We will ensure that you are sent the part from our stock as appropriate. 7. No PO Box delivery.
Freight Cost Freight cost will be sent to you after you order online. We currently use HunterExpress to deliver all products. Its pricing rate is very competitive. Insurance arrangements are at the customer’s discretion. We try our best to save the freight cost for you. New online automatic express distribution system will be working out soon.
Returns: In order to protect our customers, AUSTARS MODEL accepts return of faulty products or damaged products with freight free in case replacement with identical new items can not be processed. Products modified, abused or misused are solely the purchasers responsibility. Please contact us for a return authorization number. Product property remains with AUSTARS MODEL before payment is made. If there is a change of ownership or in default, we have the right to claim back all of our products or the amount in full.
